Web hosting reviews

I have used wwwserver.co.uk as hosts since 2001(ish) and they are pretty good, not 9/10 stuff but generally everything works, when it doesn't the helpdesk is generally manned and if there is someone there your problems can be fixed within a few minutes, well except when the datacente had a slight power failure that dropped an entire rack of servers, not their fault and it was fixed pretty quick.

The offer what I would call basic hosting with some good add ons;
- 250MB warehouse web space
- 1 email address
- Your domian must be hosted with them so you can't just point the domain at them
- Servers are all PHP and asp.net (2.0) with databse support
- SQL 2000 is extra though
- The hosting envronment is managed via HELM, making it all very easy to look after

Annual costs are around £30

Sites hosted with wwwserver are not lighning fast and probably wouldn't stand up to a massive '00,000s of hits a day but for small business sites they are perfect and cheap.

If you have a site that needs to go somewhere quickly you can be up and running in a day or so.
